I have a Joomla!/Virtuemart webshop, and want to improve my SEO.
I have sh404, do I need 4SEO as well, or maybe combine this with any other tooling?
Open to suggestions.

sh404SEF and 4SEO really are not related. The main purpose of sh404SEF is to "fix" Joomla URLs, and it adds on top of that easy meta data management, some structured data generation and useful SEO tools such as the ability to create redirects or canonicals, and more.
4SEO is an all-in-one SEO tool which includes sitemaps generation, full structured data generation, broken links detection, content replacement, advanced redirection and canonical, Social networks meta data with automatic image detection, automatic canonicalisation, analytics snippets, and more.
So if you are after SEO, 4SEO is what you need. Adding sh404SEF will change your URLs and so if your site is already indexed, there's not much benefit in that?
