Reduced schedule during conference and annual break

We'll be operating with a reduced schedule from tomorrow and the next few weeks, as follows:

We'll be travelling and attending JoomlaDay USA from Tuesday April 22 to Friday April 25. Support will have extended response time during this period. From April 25 evening to Tuesday May 12 included, support will be closed for our annual break.

Don't forget to look up the documentation, including the videos, your answer may already be there! Likewise, be sure to check the Development versions area, in case your problem may already have been solved.

In case of emergency (ie your site is down with a fatal error directly linked to one of our extensions), please contact us by email (see contact icon at the bottom of all pages of this site)

#7851 – Can I also have the normal share buttons on mobile browsing.

Dear support,

I really like your static social share buttons (see NormalBrowser.png). They are awesome!

On mobile devices it even gives a far more powerful share button (CurrentMobileBrowsing.png). From there you can really share it in every way. Only it tempts my website visitors less to share my page, as long as they haven't pressed that button. And it doesn't work so easily towards Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn if they (like me) don't have those mobile app's installed on the device.

I really want to promote people to share my website pages. Is there a way to show mobile users, beside your very powerful compact share button, still also the individual buttons (see me own created image DesiredShareButtonsMobileBrowser.png).

With kind regards, Nico

Hi

You can disable unified sharing button in the settings of the Social share plugin, this is part of the Static buttons settings. However you cannot have both the regular buttons and the static ones, they are mutually exclusive.

That's a nice idea though so I'll add it to our ideas list.

Note that you are on public forum, where we can only reply to pre-sale questions.
