Hello

I have a few questions.
I have sh404sef running on my site and want to get more seo features.

Could it be possible to run also route66 with sh404sef?
Because Route66 uses the Yoast API which helps with SEO features.

Or will sh404sef will get more features to help for better SEO in the future.
Like better checking if the headings are correct and if not warning or make that visible in any way.
Let's check for texts of the articles for keywords which Yoast SEO can do for Wordpress. I saw infos that Yoast is offering integrations for other plattforms with theire .js database but i dont know if something could be a possibility or if you would offer something in this way yourself.

So it would be interesting if there will come more features to help and improve with sh404sef.

Also will the meta descriptions count of the digits will get optimized? Because this was in the past with 160 then google went to 320 or some in etween. Then i have read that they went more like a pixel value.

An other feature that would be great to have the possibility to create a sitemap. Because sh404sef is already listing all the urls it would be great as a feature update.

Totally. You'd need to pay attention to not enable route66 features that overlap with sh404SEF. In particular, do not use any SEF URL related features from route66.

At some point we will provide a Yoast content helper tool integration as well (as a free independant plugin), as Yoast make it available to all.

It's the only really powerful solution in that field and it's too complex a subject to do it well. Yoast is a nearly 100 people company, most of them working in that product. So we'll only integrate it, not try to do something that does only 20% of it.

We have all that under development and nearing completion, we hope for release before the summer.
