Hi,

I downloaded teh AMP plugin, but it doesn't seem to work as I can not set the Operation Mode Development Mode for testing? I wan't to know if it's working before upgrading.

Am I overlooking some settings?

What do you mean by that? what happens exactly? This mode is the default one, so there's basically nothing to do to have it.

1 - Are you using Joomla standard admin template?
2 - Is the plugin enabled? it seems not so.
3 - Do you have any javascript error showing in the browser console?

1. Yes, the standard Isis template
2. No, I disabled it, because it is in normal (active) mode when enabled
3. There are no javascript errors.

The server is Nginx, PHP 7.3, with Joomla! 3.9.15

Hi

OK, my bad, I had not installed the Community edition from a fresh start in a while. All of this is normal and expected. As you can see on your screesnhot, those options are part of the Full edition:

As you navigate through the settings, you can see which ones are marked as for the "Full edition", for instance Operation mode, Analytics, Disqus comments,etc

When I publish the plugin, I get a warning to be sure to check: Be sure to regularly validate your pages. Use both AMP validation in Chrome and the Google Structured Data test tool. Please read simple how to on this page of wbAMP documentation. So, that’s a bit confusing. Thanks for your answers.

Yes, as with everything on your site, you should install new extensions, template or make any significant change to a development copy of the site, not the real one. That's too dangerous.
