Hi, I am interested in purchasing 4AI for my Joomla 5.4.3 website, but I need to confirm some specific technical requirements before buying:
Local RAG (Folder Indexing): Can 4AI perform RAG (indexing/embeddings) by reading a local folder on my server containing .txt files? I want the assistant to answer using these specific files, keeping the data on my own server.
Custom Database Tables: Can 4AI index and use data from custom database tables (not standard Joomla content tables) that are located within the same Joomla database? If so, does it require a custom indexer plugin?
Logs & Limits: Does the extension allow me to view the full chat logs of what users are asking? Also, can I use my own Gemini API key to bypass the 1,500 free daily questions by enabling billing on Google AI Studio?
User Quotas: Is there a way to set a limit on the number of questions an individual user (or guest) can ask within a certain timeframe (e.g., max 10 questions every 2 hours) to prevent API abuse?
Please let me know if these features are natively supported or if they require custom development.

4AI is not a user-facing assistant, ie it's not displayed to your visitors.
It's a Joomla admin assistant.
I understand what you are looking for and it's not what 4AI is. Please note that if you use a AI assistant for your visitors, it is still to this day extremely hard to constrain them to only reply to what you want, ie not let them drift away from your own content and start talking about other things.
