Hi,

I am writing to request support regarding the XML Sitemap generation in 4SEO.

I have recently deleted several old and obsolete articles from my Joomla site to improve SEO. After the deletion, I triggered a sitemap reconstruction. However, I noticed that the Total URLs count in the 4SEO dashboard remains unchanged (currently at 7325), which is the same number previously indexed by Google.

I have already verified the following:

  • The articles have been deleted and are not just "unpublished".

  • The "Minimum delay between updates" is set to 30 minutes.

  • The sitemap was supposedly recreated but the number of URLs did not decrease.

Could you please guide me on how to force a full refresh of the URL index so that 4SEO correctly detects the removal of these items? Is there a specific cache I should clear or a "re-scan" function I should trigger to ensure the XML file only contains currently published content?
