"Hello, I am considering buying 4SEF for my Joomla 4 site, which uses Virtuemart. I have a persistent problem where Facebook Sharing Debugger shows an incorrect og:image for my Virtuemart category pages (it shows a random product thumbnail instead of the category image), along with an "Inferred Property" warning. I have confirmed the problem is not with my server or a security extension. Can you confirm that 4SEF will take control of the og:image tag on Virtuemart category pages and solve this specific issue? Thank you."

Hi

4SEF will not do anything for OGP data, it's not an SEO extension and only deals with SEF URLs.

4SEO is our extension and it can handle OGP images. It does not have any specific support for Virtuemart though, so I can't guarantee it will automatically pick up the image that you want - although you can of course manually select any image you want using 4SEO.

it shows a random product thumbnail instead of the category image

Maybe that's because only the thumbnails are included in the page. And the full size images are loaded with javascript, which makes them inaccessible? Your problem may be a template problem.

Best regards
