Reduced schedule during conference and annual break
We'll be operating with a reduced schedule from tomorrow and the next few weeks, as follows:
We'll be travelling and attending JoomlaDay USA from Tuesday April 22 to Friday April 25. Support will have extended response time during this period. From April 25 evening to Tuesday May 12 included, support will be closed for our annual break.
Don't forget to look up the documentation, including the videos, your answer may already be there! Likewise, be sure to check the Development versions area, in case your problem may already have been solved.
In case of emergency (ie your site is down with a fatal error directly linked to one of our extensions), please contact us by email (see contact icon at the bottom of all pages of this site)
#11477 – Can 4SEF Support K2

Hi
> Can 4sef support customising k2 articles (joomla 3.9) in terms of the url pattern
K2 used to have a plugin for sh404SEF but they did not rewrite it for 4SEF, so K2 URLs with 4SEF are just going to be the same as the one produced with Joomla SEF, whatever that is.
You can of course manually customize them once they are in the database, but that's manual and one at a time.
You'll have to talk to JoomlaWorks to have them migrate their sh404SEF to 4SEF.
also to support existhing k2 articles sef from artio ?
4SEF cannot directly import these URLs but you can go through sh404SEF for that:
1 - Import from JoomSEF into sh404SEF
2 - Import from sh404SEF into 4SEF
Although there's no guarantee the imported will all works perfectly as before, from past experience, Artio JoomSEF users have had good success with this. But that was mostly with Joomla articles, I can't say much about experience with K2.
Best regards
