Hi,
do You have a scenario for migration from old joomla withc K2, to joomla 4 with hudge amount of addresses?
I do not want lost position in google...
Regards
We'll be operating with a reduced schedule from tomorrow and the next few weeks, as follows:
We'll be travelling and attending JoomlaDay USA from Tuesday April 22 to Friday April 25. Support will have extended response time during this period. From April 25 evening to Tuesday May 12 included, support will be closed for our annual break.
Don't forget to look up the documentation, including the videos, your answer may already be there! Likewise, be sure to check the Development versions area, in case your problem may already have been solved.
In case of emergency (ie your site is down with a fatal error directly linked to one of our extensions), please contact us by email (see contact icon at the bottom of all pages of this site)

Hi
There's no definite scenario, except that you are in a better place if you were using sh404SEF with K2 and are now using 4SEF.
No URL can be imported because you are not using the same extension to display content (from K2 to Joomla com_content).
However, usually, when using sh404SEF with k2, you should have used the K2 plugin (provided by K2 themselves), meaning you have URLs similar to:
/category-alias/item-alias
If that's the case and you import K2 content into the same categories and articles names as you had in K2, then you can easily configure 4SEF to also create these URLs for com_content (in fact, these are the defaults, so you don't even have to configure it).
So again, the key points are:
- you were using the K2 plugin for sh404SEF and you have "nice" URLs in k2
- you import using the same names and categories.
If that's true, then you should be able to maintain all or almost all your URLs.
Best regards
