Reduced schedule during conference and annual break

We'll be operating with a reduced schedule from tomorrow and the next few weeks, as follows:

We'll be travelling and attending JoomlaDay USA from Tuesday April 22 to Friday April 25. Support will have extended response time during this period. From April 25 evening to Tuesday May 12 included, support will be closed for our annual break.

Don't forget to look up the documentation, including the videos, your answer may already be there! Likewise, be sure to check the Development versions area, in case your problem may already have been solved.

In case of emergency (ie your site is down with a fatal error directly linked to one of our extensions), please contact us by email (see contact icon at the bottom of all pages of this site)

Hello, I installed 4AI community edition, configured it, entered the secret API-OpenAI key, get a confirmation, that the key is valid. (Green check in the right upper corner of the component dashboard.

The moment I leave the 4Ai component and change to content/articles, the API connection is lost.

I use Joomla 5.0.3

That does not mean the key is valid. This is only the "spinner" that rotates while 4AI is talking to your server (for saving or reading information). So the only thing this says is that there was no error saving the data

We have no way to "validate" a key, the only way to validate it is to try and use it.

1 - But I'm not I understand what you mean by "the API connection is lost"?

What happens exactly, what do you see on your screen?

2 - When you go back to Configuration | API Providers, is your API key still there, visible in the Secret Key field?
