I have a friend who's an SEO expert who told me not to use Chat GPT to generate text on my sites, because Google was able to detect it and would punish sites that used it.
That's not a real thing indeed. What Google tries to do is penalize content specifically written for SEO, content with no value except attracting visitors. They have specifically say that they do not penalize AI-generated content, the main reason being that they are totally unable to detect whether content has been written by a human or by an AI system.
That said, what does happen is that most AI-generated content is indeed of low value, repetitive, unatural and does not get ranked very well. But that's just because it's bad content. You can write this same bad content yourself.
I'd like to have your opinion on the matter, given that you also use AI as a writing plugin.
The thing with 4AI is that it's not at all a plugin to write content. It can do that, there's a feature to do it, if you use it to write content it will be way better than copy/pasting from ChatGPT but that's one feature out of 20 or more.
What 4AI does is integrate with Joomla to perform common tasks where AI can indeed help: correcting text for grammar, spelling, style (professional, enthusiastic, funny, etc), translate, write a meta description or a title from an article, lengthen a paragraph, reduce its length, write a tweet or a facebook or linkedIn post, create a newsletter, that sort of things. And yes, also created an article.
AI systems are very good at many things, we just need to find exactly at what and 4AI is our answer to that question when it come to Joomla websites...
