Hi Yannick,
Are these 2 feature in the topic are only available from sh404sef. Are they planned for the new 4SEF?
I really love and use them. If you are not planning of adding them, do you know any alternatives?
Thanks
Miguel
We'll be operating with a reduced schedule from tomorrow and the next few weeks, as follows:
We'll be travelling and attending JoomlaDay USA from Tuesday April 22 to Friday April 25. Support will have extended response time during this period. From April 25 evening to Tuesday May 12 included, support will be closed for our annual break.
Don't forget to look up the documentation, including the videos, your answer may already be there! Likewise, be sure to check the Development versions area, in case your problem may already have been solved.
In case of emergency (ie your site is down with a fatal error directly linked to one of our extensions), please contact us by email (see contact icon at the bottom of all pages of this site)

Hi
Are they planned for the new 4SEF?
Nothing more will be added to 4SEF. 4SEF does only one single thing: SEF URLs, and nothing else.
- A vastly improved 404 (and other) errors page handling has been part of our all-in-one SEO extension, 4SEO, for several years now.
- The URL shortener was not retained from sh404SEF because it was generating excessive load and data storage on large sites, with little use in practice
You can of course use 4SEO redirects (or rather alias) feature to create an redirect you want. It's a manual process but a super easy one, and only for the pages you actually need it (by opposition to sh404SEF, which was filling up the shURL database table regardless of actual use).
Best regards
Yannick Gaultier
