Reduced schedule during conference and annual break

We'll be operating with a reduced schedule from tomorrow and the next few weeks, as follows:

We'll be travelling and attending JoomlaDay USA from Tuesday April 22 to Friday April 25. Support will have extended response time during this period. From April 25 evening to Tuesday May 12 included, support will be closed for our annual break.

Don't forget to look up the documentation, including the videos, your answer may already be there! Likewise, be sure to check the Development versions area, in case your problem may already have been solved.

In case of emergency (ie your site is down with a fatal error directly linked to one of our extensions), please contact us by email (see contact icon at the bottom of all pages of this site)

Hello,

I use 4SEO and SH404sef.

I recently created a Canonical using sh404sef. 4SEO is installed on my system. How can I apply the latest changes in 4SEO? And if I delete sh404sef, will 4SEO take over everything?

Also, I recently installed an extension and created a canonical URL as a redirect. The foreign extension no longer works, even though I deleted the canonical URL under Alias.

Are there still entries somewhere that I need to delete?

Best regards,
Markus

Hi

Thanks for your message. You are on public forum, where we can only reply to pre-sale questions.

We provide support to our subscribers through our helpdesk.

After logging in, please open a ticket describing as clearly as possible the problem you're experiencing.

As a first note, 4SEO is not a replacement for sh404SEF as it does not do anything with SEF URL. 4SEF is a separate extension that does only one thing: SEF URLs. You cannot remove sh404SEF without transitionning first to 4SEF as otherwise all the URLs on your site would revert to Joomla ones as soon as you disable sh404SEF, and you'd lose all your search engines rankings immediately.

Best regards
