did you say that Aliases are a thing of the past?? i have pages nested in categories that the URLs are formed from....changing a category makes visitors get to a 404 page as that url no longer exists....any option or is it going through search console or .htaccess?

Not sure what you mean by that. 4SEO has a super powerful redirects manager, more powerful and simpler than past extensions ever had.

Also, I added back aliases in 4SEO as well, they are also redirects, less powerful but simpler to use.

ok great...but where and how do i do it... ?

ive changed the category in easy blog and people are going to 404s all the time for the old page until re-indexes gets sorted...

How about reading the 4SEO documentation on redirects? it's really good!

If redirecting an entire category, I guess you don't want to redirect each URL one by one, so a redirect rule is what you need.
