Can 4SEO automatically genrate meta description based on the content of an article?
If a new article is created, can the meta description be automatically filled based on the content if the meta description field is empty?

Reduced schedule during conference and annual break

4SEO will generate automatically a meta description if none exists otherwise.

It won't do that. The metadata generated is done on the fly, not saved in the article fields.
We do not recommend using this autogenerating feature, it's way better to manually create descriptions if you can.
