Hello,
We are hoping you might give some good advice. We love 4SEF so thank you for that!  Our question is, we struggle with SEO and are currently considering 4SEO and/or Google Structured Data from Tassos.gr. Which is better or should/could both be used together without conflict? Or is there a better combination?  Is there a complete listing of 4SEO features?  How well are sitemaps, etc now handled?

Also, we are looking at AI help for articles, and SEO so we are considering 4AI.  How is it coming along, are there additional features being added and is there a feature listing? I struggle to assess the total cost of using the program with the API.  We have a small but growing article-based site, could you provide a link to the right signup page for the best API and some insight into the use costs?  I can't seem to get a grip on what the true costs are going forward as tokens are challenging to figure out.  Are there any real-world examples like what are you and your customers experiencing?  Do they protect article data or can we expect others to have a similar article before we launch?

Looking at Jasper,  Rytr,  Sudowrite which all have a monthly fee but are probably not the best fit for Joomla article development?

Thank you for your time and any other advice you could give,
marc

Hi

We are hoping you might give some good advice. We love 4SEF so thank you for that! Our question is, we struggle with SEO and are currently considering 4SEO and/or Google Structured Data from Tassos.gr. Which is better or should/could both be used together without conflict? Or is there a better combination? Is there a complete listing of 4SEO features? How well are sitemaps, etc now handled?

Not sure how to respond to that. You can't really compare Tassos GSD to 4SEO, as Tassos GSD only does structured data.

4SEO creates structured data like GSD but it also does a lot more. A detailed list of features canbe of course on you 4SEO product page. And if you want to go deeper, there's the full documentation for you to read, including a (longish) Getting started video. Note that the video here is a bit  outdated as it does not show the Google Search Console integration.

I'm not sure either how to respond to "How well are sitemaps, etc now handled"? So I'll just answer with "Very well, thank you", and maybe you have something more specific in mind?

Also, we are looking at AI help for articles, and SEO so we are considering 4AI. How is it coming along, are there additional features being added and is there a feature listing?

Likewise, for features, please review the product page, the full documentation and the full video presentation I did at JoomlaDay Netherland.

Compared to that video, we added recently support for a built-in chat, which has the advantage of preventing chat data to being stored and possibly be used by OpenAI when using ChatGPT directly.

As for adding new features, that will depend on what becomes possible, but I'd say 4AI is already pretty feature full at this stage already. What do you have in mind?

I struggle to assess the total cost of using the program with the API. We have a small but growing article-based site, could you provide a link to the right signup page for the best API and some insight into the use costs? I can't seem to get a grip on what the true costs are going forward as tokens are challenging to figure out. Are there any real-world examples like what are you and your customers experiencing? Do they protect article data or can we expect others to have a similar article before we launch?

The cost are extremely, insanely low. Generating a thousand words per day, for a month, will cost you less than $0.01. In a month.

Looking at Jasper, Rytr, Sudowrite which all have a monthly fee but are probably not the best fit for Joomla article development?

OpenAI will always be the cheapeast, by a long distance.  As for quality, it is my experience they are also above all the rest. Especially if you generate content in languages other than English. But even in English, the quality is above the rest.

Hello and Thank you for the quick reply,
It seems a clear choice with all the data you supplied for 4SEO and 4AI.  I had stumbled earlier upon older posts when 4SEO was just starting to do sitemaps and structured data (thanks Bing).  Now I see the products have matured and are full-featured.

I guess my only concerns are:
Is there any reason to wait to install before Joomla 4 on either product?

When I go to the OpenAI and look at the API pricing schedule it appears there is a number to choose from, which does 4AI use or is this something that happens programmatically after I generate and supply 4AI with an API Key?

I searched in vain for real-world examples of the GPT-3 disclosure requirements on websites.  Hope there is no need for a mention or link in every article, any real-world examples of how folks are handling this?  Some people are put off by AI and with known hallucinations some might feel articles are not to be trusted.  Any thoughts?

Thank you again for a quick thorough reply and the great products,
marc

Hi

I had stumbled earlier upon older posts when 4SEO was just starting to do sitemaps and structured data (thanks Bing).

4SEO had full support for sitemaps and structured data from version 1.0, in June 2021. Nothing new here.

I guess my only concerns are:
Is there any reason to wait to install before Joomla 4 on either product?

All our 4XXX extensions work the same under Joomla 3 and Joomla 4. As Joomla 3 and Joomla 4 are essentially the same when it comes to SEO or content features, the only reason to wait for Joomla 4 would be if you plan on completely re-doing your site, changing its structure, it's content, etc

If your plan is just to update from J3 to J4, then there's no reason to wait.

I searched in vain for real-world examples of the GPT-3 disclosure requirements on websites. Hope there is no need for a mention or link in every article, any real-world examples of how folks are handling this?

Relevant links are:

https://openai.com/policies/sharing-publication-policy

We're not lawyers, so you'll have to make up your own mind on all these questions.

Some people are put off by AI and with known hallucinations some might feel articles are not to be trusted. Any thoughts?

I tend to agree and not trust AI output directly for content creation. That is, it can serve as a basis but a topic expert should be using it to produce the final version. Of course there are many considerations, including which field you're in and what sort of content you want to create. There's a strong risk of creating "generic" content, that's not helpful to visitors and Google is making a lot of efforts to devalue this type of content.

That said, 4AI is not really, really focused on content creation. It does so quite well, but it's also strong, maybe even stronger, in content transformation: revising, summarizing, rewriting for keywords, writing title, description, extracting or suggesting keywords, tweets or tweet threads, facebook or linked in post and of course translating.

Transforming content is where these AI system shine, and where you don't have any risk of hallucination.

Best regards
