WE seem to have a number of table formatted pages that we don't need how do we get rid of them as they are affecting our google rankings as they are seen as duplicated meta descriptions.

That will not affect your rankings, description are not used for rankings at all.
2 - As you may know, sh404SEF simply records and SEFy URLs created by Joomla and the extensions on your site. If those URLs are displayed in the URL manager, then it's because they exist on your site (they are often in the breadcrumbs module, or in RSS feeds for instance).
3 - You are on public forum, where we can only reply to pre-sale questions. We provide support to our subscribers through our helpdesk.
