Hi, I evaluated the community edition of WbAMP and like it a lot and especially the speed with which you are making updates. Question, the way my server handles caching is that it creates a new file entry in a cache directory for each article using the SH404SEF generated friendly name. When an AMP version is created since it resides one directory below the friendly URL a folder must be created of the same name as the friendly URL and then the AMP version file is placed there. This then breaks the display of the non-AMP version above it because NGINX is confused by having both a file and a folder of the same name. My question is, could WbAMP be configured such that it does not have to place the AMP version is a subfolder? For example, the AMP URL appended could be just "-amp" instead of "/amp"? Until I figure out a way around this in NGINX I cannot run the plugin. Thanks in advance,

Hi

wbAMP cannot be "configured" to not use a /, it would need to be changes in the program itself.

To be honest, I'm not sure why this would be a problem and how can nginx cache (fastcgi-cache? what cache exactly?) can be confused by that. Having a folder and a file with the same name is extremely common on most site, especially if you run sh404SEF: this happens as soon as you have blog or list category view. You then get:
- /example-category
- /example-category/first-article

I'm not sure what was going on, but with the latest version it is working fine. When it was broken the base page was attempting to redirect. Thanks for your reply and we appreciate the product. Jim

Hi

When it was broken the base page was attempting to redirect.
I don't think this was related to wbAMP to be honest. Glad it's solved anyway.
