I just noticed that my table for the source urls has ballooned to more than 4 Gigs! How do I purge those records? Do I need to do that in PHPmyAdmin?

It seems you have enabled "URL source recording", which is a debugging feature and should not be left enabled unless you're debugging. Make sure you disable it, and empty (do not deleted) the table with phpmyadmin.
