I have a site where I have upgraded from sh404SEF til 4SEO and 4SEF. After that I upgraded to Joomla 4. No matter what i try i cannot analyze any pages with 4SEO. It just says it's done, but no pages have been analyzed. I have tried to clear the web analyze data - the problem persists. What to do ??

#9532 – Pages not being analyzed ??
Hi
What to do ??
As always, the first thing is to provide a full and real URL to the site, so that I can at least check the basics, ie robots.txt and meta noindex.
There are many reasons this would happen, the first ones being what I said above:
- robots.txt exclusions
- meta noindex on home page or other pages
- some URLs excluded from the analysis that should not be excluded.
- wrong "main site address" under Pages | Settings (pay attention to https vs http and www vs non-www)
If none of the above apply, then it's going to be more technical most likely, as in most cases, this is a firewal blocking access to 4SEO.
You can install our Joomla log file viewer (4Logs, get it from the JED directly) and have a look at the error log file for 4SEO. This may reveal some errors happening during the crawl.
If you see things like "timeout after 15000 seconds...", then something on your server is blocking access.

Hi Yannick
Seems that none of the above is the problem. You can see the site here: https://danskmoebeldesign.dk.
Just installed 4LOGS and tried to analyze again - this makes no new entry in the logs.
Ahh sorry - now ir works - after resetting the pages data. It must have been something in the robots.txt which I switched out with the default Joomla robots.txt
Hi
Yes, unfortunately, robots.txt is pretty dangerous thing to play with, very easy to accidentaly block some pages from crawling. And when you block 4SEO, you also block Google!!!
