Good Morning, I am trying to figure out what is going on, I was on top of NYC and then I started dipping and its because all my page titles and SEO is gone.   There are no pages available in 4SEO control panel and not sure what changed.   BUT...  4SEF see's all.

Hi

I was on top of NYC and then I started dipping

When? what happened at this time? did upgrade from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4? what's the full history of the site?

its because all my page titles and SEO is gone

Page titles have very little effect on ranking, and meta description has exactly zero effects on ranking, so even if your titles and description are gone, this cannot have a significant effect on your rankings.

But over the last 3 months or so, there's been several Google updates (see this page for Google official list of updates), which are likely to have had much more effects. Looking at your site, I would think the "Helpful" content update and the maybe the "Product review" update should have hit your site.

4SEO does not change page titles so not having the title you had is not coming from switching to 4SEO. Again, what are the steps you took, what's the history of the site?

There are no pages available in 4SEO control panel and not sure what changed

Did you have some before? If so, I would suggest you update to the latest version as your current version is completely outdated and then:

- reset the analysis

- run a new analysis from the admin

Please make sure to always keep 4SEO (and all your Joomla extensions really) up to date at all times.

Best regards

Hi

When? what happened at this time? did upgrade from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4? what's the full history of the site? No changes to the version or any changes to the site on backend.

There are no pages showing in 4SEO....  Regardless there is no way to edit page titles because I cannot access any pages....   Can you please login and take a look?

Sorry, I have taken them all.   No change.

Hi

So I have installed 4Logs, our logs viewer for Joomla on your site to see if any error was recorded during the analysis or otherwise. This shows up in the logs:

This is something I have seen before. It's caused by your webserver blocking 4SEO requests. As it started to happen suddenly, it would suggest that your hosting company updated their systems and the webserver version they are now running is applying security rules that breaks 4SEO requests.

Like I said we have seen this in the past and 4SEO has added workarounds to try and run also on these servers. If you had kept 4SEO updated, you'd likely never had these issues.

Sorry, I have taken them all.

You did not. Not only did you not update 4SEO but you are also using a totally outdated Joomla version. This is a major concern for your site security and you should update ASAP.

Once you are up to date, reset analysis and re-run it from the admin.

Thanks for the quality customer service.  And...  I now see that the token needed to update was missing.

Hi

Glad it's sorted! Yes, update key is needed for any update. Please be sure to keep your site updated, both Joomla and all extensions you use.

This is the only way to avoid technical and security issues!

Closing this ticket now, feel free to open a new one as needed. If you do so, please mention this ticket number in the new one.
