Hi
Google can't read some of the sitemap.xml (please see attachment).
Can you read it?
Please note that no real support can be provided without full and real URLs to the website in question.

Hi
No, in the sitemap from today there are the second sitemaps not listed.
https://www.example.com/sitemap-4seo.xml
So I have to send the sitemap link to google from time to time, that the actual version will be indicated?
Best regards
Oliver
Hi
No, in the sitemap from today there are the second sitemaps not listed.
There are 1000 URLs in each sub-file. So if some pages have been removed from the German sitemap, it may that before we needed 2 files but now one is enough.
That's all fine and having these 404s in the Search console is 100%, totally fine. What matters is what's in the sitemap files themselves.
So I have to send the sitemap link to google from time to time, that the actual version will be indicated?
You should NEVER send the sitemap to Google. When a new sitemap is updated or created, 4SEO pings Google automatically. There's nothing to do for you.
4SEO only submits the "index" sitemap (/sitemap-4seo.xml) and individual "sub-sitemaps" (/sitemap.de-DE.4seo.1.xml.gz, etc) are not supposed to be submitted. Only the index. Very important, do NOT submit them.
