Hi Yannick,

I have the site analysis open since 4 hours but nothing is changing. The icon at the top is animated, the number of analysed pages does not grow. The number of running pages decreases.

Not sure what I am missing, is there a faster way to index all pages (13.000) ?

Thanks!

Hi

You're not missing anything, all is fine.

The icon at the top is animated, the number of analysed pages does not grow. The number of running pages decreases.

As long as the number of pages decreases, all is fine. The number of analyzed page does not increase at the same rate, due to duplicates, exclusions and a number of other reasons.

Not sure what I am missing, is there a faster way to index all pages (13.000) ?

There's a slider to increase the speed, but you should be careful not to overload your server. Then the other (good) way is to reduce the number of pages to crawl, by adding exclusions in Pages | Settings | Site analysis.

For instance, you can exclude all user profile pages, all edit links, all email links, etc

Anything that does not have any ranking value is not worth crawling. In your cases, 4SEO found many links, and likely is dropping many as well (that's why the number of analyzed pages does not increase very much). But it still have to crawl them to decide to discard them. So if you know there are some links not worth looking that, you can exclude them from the start.

Weeblr.com has about 15,000 pages and SEO tools such as SEMRush or AHrefs needs 24 to 48 hours to crawl it. 4SEO should be much faster in your case.

Hi

it has been 5 Days now and the number of analysed pages did not change. Anything I can do about this?

1 - Does the number of analyzed pages change? The number of analyzed page does not matter.

2 - Still talking about 13,000 pages? that's very small, only a few hours at most should be needed, depending on your speed settings.

Maybe have a look in the logs folder (use 4Logs for that)? do you have anything relevant  in the error folders?

There's obviously something wrong happening for such a small site being stuck.

Best regards
