Does 4SEO provide an interface to input alternate text for images? Does it analyze the site and report all images that don't have alternate text?
Reduced schedule during conference and annual break
We'll be operating with a reduced schedule from tomorrow and the next few weeks, as follows:
We'll be travelling and attending JoomlaDay USA from Tuesday April 22 to Friday April 25. Support will have extended response time during this period. From April 25 evening to Tuesday May 12 included, support will be closed for our annual break.
Don't forget to look up the documentation, including the videos, your answer may already be there! Likewise, be sure to check the Development versions area, in case your problem may already have been solved.
In case of emergency (ie your site is down with a fatal error directly linked to one of our extensions), please contact us by email (see contact icon at the bottom of all pages of this site)
#8867 – Alternate text for images?

Hi
We do not offer an interface to input alt image text, that's more something for when you create your content. What type of content are you talking about?
Given that Joomla now has a fully featured accessibility plugin, I'm not sure there's any sense in adding our own.
Does it analyze the site and report all images that don't have alternate text?
See above, the Joomla accessibility plugin should offer this when creating content.
As for scanning all pages, we don't do it at the moment, but it's possible as we already scan pages for many things. It does require a fair bit of work as we need user interface to exclude all images that actually don't need an alt text (all icons, logo, buttons, etc). But it will happen eventually.
