Hi,

I have 4SEO running on my website for a few weeks now. however, unfortunately, until today the page analysis is not finished as it seems.
the display stands for weeks at 45%

Total 2979 Pending 3656

i have the feeling this is related to the easysocial component. the community tool produces a lot of possible urls which can't seem to be parsed to the end.
If I manually analyze the pending pages using the "Analyze new" button, they are processed, but the number immediately increases again.

has this problem already occurred with other users of 4SEO?

Hi

has this problem already occurred with other users of 4SEO?

It's not a problem. 4SEO constantly monitors the site and try to detect changes, and it will put back pages for analysis if it thinks it may have changed. So it's normal and expected to have "pending" pages all the time.

What matters is:

- when you run it manually, it completes. From there, things are fine and it's only updates.

- you should definitely exclude URLs from the community component. That's a waste to try to analyze them, there's no SEO benefit to be gained from that, at least from most of them.

You exclude URLs from the Pages | Site analysis | URL exclude input field. Be sure to use the Reset Analysis after that, so that all these useless URLs are removed from the list.

hi.

thank you for your answer.

is ther a way to know what urls are pending? to know what filters i should build to exclude them to get less pending urls?

Hi

You would have to look at the #__forseo_collected_urls to know that. However I don't recommen it at all.

Exclusions should be based on your site SEO requirements. What are the pages that matters, which one don't (for instance the community component seems a good candidate).

URLs to crawl are added to the list as they are found. So if a URL is in the pending URLs list, it does NOT mean it's useless and should be excluded. It only means it was found after other URLs.
