Good morning,
I set up structured data for an event category and testing the url with the google tool shows 4 alerts. It's normal? Can I solve this issue using Joomla additional fields?

Page URL: https://www.example.com/venerdi-6-maggio-yoga-nidra-relax-per-mente-e-corpo.html

Google Check: https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/result/r%2Fevents?id=lKCgXCbMZw_zgioLQ9txSg

Best regards
Marco

Hi

the google tool shows 4 alerts. It's normal?

Yes, these are warnings, not errors, and they are for optional additional data that can be added to the structured data record.

Can I solve this issue using Joomla additional fields?

4SEO does not make use of custom fields right now, it will come later. Whether it'd be useful in that case depends on your use case, whether filling out all this data is worth the trouble of these few optional fields in your structured data.

Are these events created with just Joomla articles?

yes, using the additional joomla fields to set the start date and end date of the event

Hi

Good, then there are 2 ways:

- if you have a small number of events, create a custom Structured data rule for each event

- otherwise, just do nothing. These fields are optional.

- in time, when 4SEO has support for custom fields, decide whether you want to invest the time in entering this additional data into custom fields vs how useful it is
