Bonjour,

Comment corriger?

Merci d'avance

Hi,

We can only provide support in the English language, please make sure to only use English here to communicate with us.

Also, make sure to provide a full and real URL for one or more pages you want to discuss, so that we're on the same page.

That is correct. 4SEO does not crawl "noindex" pages, precisely because that would be a waste of time. If you make such change in 4SEO, you need to:

- Reset analysis under Pages | Settings | Site analysis

- do a manualy analysis or wait for the new analysis to complete in the background.

That said, why do you want to revert the change? if you think Google is wasting time on useless pages, they should be noindex exactly as you set them to? why change back?

Best regards

Sorry, I did not realize about the language... But I guess you have understood the nature of my problem anyway.

So to answer the question about "why restore those pages"... I don't like having errors in Search Console. It is not really annoying, but...
My question was meant a bit for in case... What would happen if a page, marked "no index" would become after some time (and some updates) important to be indexed.
For the 6 pages which are marked now, it's not a big deal.

examples of pages which are concerned:
https://www.xxxx.info/francais/politique-de-confidentialite.html
https://www.xxxx.info/en/english/privacy-policy.html
https://www.xxxx.info/nl/nederlands/privacybeleid.html

Oh yes... I forgot to say that I have rebuilt the pages several times before contacting you.

Hi

I forgot to say that I have rebuilt the pages several times before contacting you.

You have rebuilt, after changing back the value in 4SEO and resetting the analysis? Currently these pages are still marked as noindex by 4SEO.

If yes, please provide us with superadmin credentials to your website. You can create a temporary account, and delete it afterward, but it must have superuser level.

Hi

By the way, your "Politique de confidentialité" should absolutely be noindexed, it has not SEO value at all.

I completely agree with you about the need to mark those pages as noindex, but there must be something wrong somewhere.
I guess I rebuilt the index 3 or 4 times, after having reset the analyses.

I know it's still marked "no index". That's why I submitted the ticket.

I am not sure if I have rebuild the 4SEO pages after having modified in Joomla. I can check this and rerun the build of all pages. Just to be sure.
I have also created a Superuser just in case:

user: xxxx
password: xxxx

Hi

I just searched for the first one, politique-de-confidentialite, and it's not showing in the list so did you actually set it back to "index" at some point?

In any case, we have to wait until the analysis is complete (547 URL pending) for any change to take effect.

Hi again,

Sorry, was not thinking straight: what needs to be done is:

- Reset analysys

- Under analysis options, disable "Apply meta tag noindex exclusions". This way, when the analysis is done again, noindexed pages will be included.

I have done that and I'm now running a backend analysis to confirm.

Hi again,

So as I suspected, the "noindex, nofollow" tag has not been removed on that page, so it's still being generated byb 4SEO:

So it's basically working as expected. Revert the changes you made if you want these pages to be indexed, or leave it like that if you don't.

Note that I see you have also manually removed that URL from the sitemap. If you noindex that page, and run the analysis, 4SEO will of course exclude it from the sitemap automatically.

Best regards
