Hi

First, to recover from the error, use FTP or your hosting company file manager and:

- locate the folder /plugins/system/forseo

- rename it something else such as /plugins/system/disabled.forseo

Then what did you update exactly? from which version to which version?

Thanks Yannick for your help.

I renamed the folder and my website is back!

I don't remember from wich version was the update but it was to the latest.

I had this problem on two websites. Both are in joomla 4. No problem with sites in joomla 3.

And now, what do i need to do with 4seo? Reinstall? Will it keep my settings?

Thanks again.

Best regards

Hi

Ah great, very glad to hear that. These out of memory errors are very tricky, the message says Joomla ran out of memory, and it failed inside of 4SEO but that does not mean 4SEO is using that memory, only that when 4SEO tries to run, there's not enough memory left for it. The memory has been used before but we don't know by who.

If this should happen again, I can log in and ran more tests, or even take a backup of the site and run a copy locally to be abel to debug, if ok.

I will leave this ticket open in case you need to add something. It will automatically close in 2 weeks if no further comment is made.

Best regards
