Hello,

Using the latest 4SEO version, creating a structured data rule "with some conditions" does not seem to work. Nothing entered in the "Run on this/these page(s)" box makes the rule work, including the universal URL "/{*}".

If I select to have the rule run on all pages, the rule works. But, for us, structured data for product pages should not be on all pages.

All other items on the "Modify structured data rule" page are set to their defaults.

Please advise.

Thank you.

Hi

Cannot say much without much more information, for instance:

- Full and real URL of one the pages involved

- Exact rule entered, including all the other conditions below the "Run on this/these pages" for that rule

- Are there any other structured data rules that may be triggered on the same page? there can only be one per page "main" type.

Alternatively, you can provide superadmin credentials so that I can directly look at your set up. Please still provide full and real URL of a page where I can test.

Best regards

Hello,

There are currently no other data rules active.

A real URL involved is: https://xxxx.com/en-us/mountain-blackberry-pallet-us

The exact rule entered (as a test) is: /{*}

The conditions below the "Run on this/these pages" box are all set to their defaults. "Disregard query string" is yes, and the rest are blank.

The structured data type is supposed to be "Product". All other options on the "What to do" page are set to their defaults. All are "Automatic" except custom code is blank.

Thank you

Hi

I cannot see that page, it requires to be logged in.

Well that can only work if you are running Hikashop (in which case you would not need a rule anyway, as 4SEO has direct support for Hikashop).

For a Product type, you need to have at least a Price or a review or an aggregateRating and that cannot be extracted automatically from your content.

If not Hikashop, this minimal data has to be entered manually. Which e-commerce extension is this? we're working on the next extensions to have advanced support for.

Hello,

Ah, yes, if you're outside of US or Canada, you would have to log in. We could easily update this if necessary. I trust you found the test URL's twin at: https://xxxx.com/en-us/mountain-blackberry-pallet-us.

The structured data does indeed work when I enter all of the product info manually. Our shop extension is Virtuemart. Do you think you'll have support for that soon?

Thank you

Nope, same thing but I think the problem is clearly identified.

Yes, within a month, two at most. J2Store and VM are scheduled for next version, 1.5, which should happen early november if all goes well.
