Hello,

I am using 4SEO to integrate the Facebook (Meta) Pixel on my Joomla website. When I add my Pixel ID in the dedicated field, the plugin automatically generates the Pixel code, but it loads the script from:

https://connect.facebook.net/bg_BG/fbevents.js

Meta recommends and requires using the en_US version for correct event tracking:

https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/fbevents.js

Because of the bg_BG script, the Meta Event Setup Tool cannot detect my Pixel properly and I get warnings in Meta Pixel Helper.

Could you please let me know how I can force 4SEO to use the en_US version instead of bg_BG? Or, alternatively, how to disable the automatic Pixel insertion when using the Pixel ID field, so I can use only my custom Pixel code?

Thank you for your support!

Best regards,

Hi

I have not seen that. Can you link to this page please?

All code 4SEO outputs into a page is created using a Joomla JLayout. Meaning you can use a template override to change that code.

The original JLayout for the pixel is located at:

/plugins/system/forseo/vendor/weeblr/forseo/layouts/default/forseo/analytics/fbpixel_headbottom.php

meaning you can copy it and change to your liking by putting a copy in:

/templates/{your_template}/html/layouts/default/forseo/analytics/fbpixel_headbottom.php

Ideally, you'd put that in a child template, not the main template.

Hi

I made it via Yootheme custom code, I did not work via 4SEO

It works, I tested it again before replying the other day.

Can you point me at where you saw that the language has to be the en-US one?

Best regards

Hi again,

Also note that you can insert any custom code into any page as well with 4SEO, using a "Raw content" rule. Documentation is here.

It's a rule, so you can set it to inject that code on all pages, or just some. And you can inject, javascript, css, json, etc

Best regards
