Hello

Hi
Not sure what you mean by that. Please explain exactly what you mean. 4SEO has the replacement rules for automatic replacement and linking, is that what you mean?

Hi
I write a special article on the website talking about a specific subject, for example, in this one I'm talking about the walls of Jericho in the Bible: https://www.example.com.br/jerico
So, I manually make all the links, single words and also long tails to link within other articles, doing internal linking, for the "special" article: https://www.example.com.br/jerico
some articles that I manually linked:
- https://www.example.com.br/estudo-biblico-evangelico-diversos/aguas-amargas-terra-esteril.html
- https://www.example.com.br/estudo-biblico-evangelico-diversos/uma-experiencia-poderosa.html
Thank you very much for helping
Hi
So again, what's your feature request? that 4SEO suggests articles to link to, based on keywords?
- who would select the keywords?
- should the search be done on the articles content or just URLs?
- are we only talking about Joomla native articles? or content from other extensions?
- how many articles do you have in your database?

- So again, what's your feature request? Does 4SEO suggest articles for links, based on keywords?
Answer: Yes, that.
- who would select the keywords?
answer: I don't understand if 4SEO can choose the best words, but if it can't, I can choose the words myself.
- should the search be done on the content of the articles or just on the URLs?
answer: only in the content of the articles.
- are we only talking about native Joomla articles? or content from other extensions?
answer: only from joomla native articles.
- how many articles do you have in your database?
answer: in total there are 3,700 articles in the database
More details and explanations:
- I am impressed with 4sef and 4SEO, they are excellent, congratulations.
- If 3,700 articles are too heavy for 4SEO, I could do this gradually, just add a new simple or long-tail keyword when I finish completing the one I'm analyzing, I don't know if that's how it works, it's just my suggestion.
thank you so much again
congratulations

Hi
- who would select the keywords?
answer: I don't understand if 4SEO can choose the best words, but if it can't, I can choose the words myself.
4SEO can do only a simplistic job at selecting keywords, I doubt it can work in practice. At least not without using AI. But using AI, the response time to extract keywords from even a small article woul dbe 15 to 20 seconds, I'm not sure people would like that.
- should the search be done on the content of the articles or just on the URLs?
answer: only in the content of the articles.
On URL is much easier. On content will be more difficult - but possible. I can't vouch for the result, need to test.
- If 3,700 articles are too heavy for 4SEO,
4SEO will not do a search itself, it does not make any sense, we would have to index all the articles. The only options is to use Joomla search. But the quality of that search is highly variable and depends on your actual content.
You can test that easily:
1 - write an article and select some keywords
2 - On the frontend, paste these keywords into your search input fields
3 - See what articles Joomla returns. Are the top 5 any good?

Answer: Okay, so I believe that the task of choosing keywords should be done manually.
Using the URL is much easier. In content it will be more difficult - but possible. I can't guarantee the result, I need to test it.
Answer: within the content everything will be better, in the url it is not possible to cover it with meaning.

Answer: Okay, I understand.
1 – write an article and select some keywords
Answer: OK, I'll do it.
2 - On the frontend, paste these keywords into the search input fields
Answer: please, I don't understand where the search input fields are, could you send a printout?
3 - See which articles Joomla returns. Are the first 5 good?
Answer: I understand about checking the first 5 articles that Joomla returns, but I don't know where and how to do the "rule" in 4SEO, can you show it with print?
Thanks

Surely you have a search function on your website?

hi
Surely you have a search function on your website?
Answer: I didn't enable search on the site, is it necessary?
Hi
Answer: I didn't enable search on the site, is it necessary?
4SEO cannot search the content by itself. If I were to implement such a function, I would use the Joomla search function to search for content.
So if you don't have any search on your site, then no, it's not going to be possible.
Note however that you can enable search but just do not show the search module on the frontend.
Anyway, I was just saying this so that you can test the quality of the Joomla search on your site.

hi,
Yes of course I understand. I have not publicly enabled search on the site due to server resource consumption. Yes of course, I can use the research to and not show it publicly. I'm willing to do these tests too, guide me and let's move on
Hi
I'm willing to do these tests too, guide me and let's move on
I'd first like to remind you I'm just suggesting this as a test. I have no plan of implementing this feature in the immediate future. It's a complicated one, that requires a fair bit of work and it's definitely not at the top of the list right now.
Then, to test the quality of Joomla search, I think what you need to do is:
- enable Joomla search
- let Joomla index your content
- publish the search module but assign it to a registered or admin user access level
that way you can test all you want but regular users won't see it.
due to server resource consumption
That's correct. Using the Joomla "finder" requires indexing and that can use some resources. There's no way around that.

I understood,
I'm going to migrate the site to Joomla 5 this week, so I'll start testing. Could it be?
Hi,
Could it be?
Not sure what you mean by that?

I meant to say that I'm going to upgrade to Joomla 5 this week, so I'm going to test the search for indexing
Hi
OK, good then. I will leave this ticket open in case you need to add something. It will automatically close in 2 weeks if no further comment is made.
