Hello, we have a Joomla installation in which we have a "member-hub" component with pages which are only accessible when the user is logged in.  Otherwise they'll return a 403 Status error, when not logged in.

The problem I'm facing now is that these "hidden" sites don't get analyzed by 4SEO. They appear in 4SEF tho.

What do I need to change to get these pages analyzed? I already checked the robots.txt and the .htaccess file and they should be configured correctly.

Hi

What do I need to change to get these pages analyzed?

You can't, 4SEO is not a real user, when it make an HTTP request to load the page, it's not logged in of course, just like Google.

Why would you want these pages to be analyzed???

We need them to be analyzed in order to create shortlinks or change the URL with 4SEO for specific pages.  Aside from that we have to be able to change the title etc. even for pages which only members can access, which to my knowledge, isn't possible with 4SEF only with 4SEO, right?

How should I proceed?

Hi

4SEF indeed only and strictly does one thing: SEF URLs, nothing else.

We need them to be analyzed in order to create shortlinks or change the URL with 4SEO for specific pages.

4SEO cannot change URLs, only 4SEF can do that:

- 4SEF deals with URLs

- 4SEO deals with SEO

You won't be able to use the "alias" feature of 4SEO as this indeed requires analyzing, which is not possible.

You can always create a Redirect rule but hat will require one rule per page, which is OK if the number of pages keeps reasonable but not if you have thousands of pages that need a shortlink. While possible, it'd become a performance issue.

Same for the page title. Analysis is required to acquire data about a page, which is when you can alter title, description, etc

Not sure what title change you have in mind. Similar to doing redirects, you can always add '"Meta data" SEO rule to change/replace the page title on a given page or set of pages but again, you probably don't want to do that for thousands of pages, unless the title change is simple (adding a prefix or suffix for instance).
