Hi,

just for information, is the credit card mandatory on platform.openai.com website or only the secret key is required at first?

If I've understood correctly, a limited number of tokens are available for using ChatGPT API. Is it possible to use the component initially without registering the credit card to register it later?

That is incorrect, there's no "free" access at all using the API.

It is not possible to access the OpenAI API without a valid credit card being available. The charges are really small, you can do tens of requests in a month and pay less than a dollar, but you need a credit card.
