Hi, with security being very important, is there a feature where we can remove output comment code from the source? I mean comments starting with [code type="markup"]<!-- -->[/code] ? SH404SEF produces many instances of these. They are unnecessary outside of debugging and we should have the option to turn them off :).

Only comments for backwards compatibility with old browsers are necessary.

We have no such plan. How would that be related to security?

Removing comments can be interesting to reduce page size although with gzip compression, gains are usually very minor but in that case you're better off using a page compressor that will remove comments, spaces and a few more things I think.
