We're pleased to announce the release of sh404SEF version 4.11.0. This is a feature and maintenance release with multiple improvements and bug fixes.

Here are the highlights:

  • Automatically generate description meta for articles when missing
  • Allow emoji in custom title and description
  • Added support for AMP Analytics Client ID API
  • Added a filter to modify created URLs before they are stored into the database
  • JomSocial URLs for individual events are now fully SEF
  • When set to Use Joomla router, URLs are not parsed due to change in J! 3.8
  • When building OGP/TCards tags, default to using document description/title if not manually customized
  • Now also insert Twitter Cards on com_content category and categories pages
