Hello,

We're pleased to announce the release of 4SEF version 2.6.2. This is a maintenance release with several improvements.

IMPORTANT: due to the nature of the log-in issue, which appeared after a change in Joomla 5.3.3, you must delete with duplicates all your com_users SEF URLS so that new one can be re-created automatically. Just installing the updated 4SEF version is not enough to fix the problem.

Here are the highlights:

  • Under some Joomla menu item configurations, it may not be possible to log-in to the frontend
  • Added CSS workaround for nasty Safari CSS bug, causing a blank line to appear on some configuration pages settings
  • Cannot modify pagination slug
  • Possible 4SEF control panel app crash under some circumstances, after migrating from sh404SEF
