Hello,

In the control panel, I can see the message "It seems your site is multilingual ... ".
The site is build only in spanish language, but I keep the english language files, because is the Joomla core language.
Is mandatory to enabled the languaje filter system plugin?

That's not what the message says.

This message is displayed when there are more than one language setup as "Content" language, like:

In the example above, the warning is not displayed because although 2 languages are defined as "Content", one is unpublished. This is the most common situation.

Please note that having English installed on the site is one thing, and having it as "Content" language is another and you absolutely don't need English defined as a "Content" language (because you will never have english content on your site).
So if you just unpublish English on the "Content" tab, this will make the warning disapear.

Note also that the warning is only a warning, so it doesn't hurt at all.

Thanks a lot for your detailed answer, is true, now, I marked unpublished the english language and the alert not appear.
