 Hello,

sorry, but we have a gain the same problem.
When we create a new article in k2, when we change the title, a,nd the alias, we have a error "0"...
0Contrôleur invalide :

menu "LE CIRÉ/Offres d'emploi

So we go to "URL Manager", and delete the record about this article. Nothing is changing.

So we delete all record about this category (search : le-cire/offres-d-emploi). It is very annoying, because, when you have 8 duplicates, you must select and delete 8 time the same record...

And always the same, "error" 0 !

What can we do to fix it quickly ??

Regard.

Hi

1 - the login/password you listed above are not working, so I can't directly check that link for you

2 -
It is very annoying, because, when you have 8 duplicates, you must select and delete 8 time the same record...
Have you seen the "Delete with duplicates" button in the tool bar, next to the "Delete" button.

3 - A SEF URL is created by joomla and by sh404SEF when it's displayed. If you delete a URL, then the new one is created whenever Joomla needs to display the link.

When you delete a URL, you just have to reload in your browser a page where this link can be found. Do not reload the page itself. Reload a page where the link is displayed.
Of course, if you are using Joomla page cache, you must clear that cache, otherwise the content is not recreated.

2/ No (stupid I am), but now yes. Excellent. Thank for the tip.

3/ Yes I know, but don't really uderstand what is happening...
It is amazing, if the K2 article ID 358 is published (and not the 1269, the new one), no error when you to menu "LE CIRE/ Offres d'emplois"
But if the ID 1269 is published and not the 358, we have this error, because we changed the name and alias...

I think if a recreated a new K2 article with the same content it'll be ok, but I want to understand...

Hi

Problem is fixed now, so I can't really see, but here's the general procedure in case you have an issue:

1 - The front-end link displayed on the site (by hovering hover the link in the menu) is:

/le-cire/offres-d-emploi/les-offres-d-emploi-du-cire

2 - Go to the URL manager, and paste that into the Search box (without the leading /). The result can be:

a/ You find no URL: sh404SEF will trigger a 404 because it doesn't know what's the non-sef for that SEF (there's an exception to that, if you selected "Use Joomla router" for one of your extensions under the "By components" tab of sh404SEF configuration. In that case, the Joomla router will also be asked to find a possible non-sef)

b - You find a non-sef:

Currenlty, on your site, when someone requests the /le-cire/offres-d-emploi/les-offres-d-emploi-du-cire, sh404SEF will tell Joomla to render the index.php?option=com_k2&Itemid=1022&id=358&lang=fr&layout=item&view=item non-sef URL.

As you can see, it's item #358 which is currently being used when rendering this page. But there's a good reason for that: you have configured the Le CIre/Offres d'emploi menu item to display item #358:

So if you want that menu item to display item #1269, then you have to change the menu item. This is unrelated to sh404SEF or aliases, titles, etc

Hello,

thank for you help, but we still have the error when the article ID1269 is activated.

Strange isn't it ?

Hi

Well, no. Nothing strange. The menu items you have created is still going to item 358, and you have disabled that article, so an error is happening.
Please check out again my previous message, this is exactly has it should work. In addition, you can check that the very same happen if yo udisable sh404SEF. (ie use Joomla default URLs.

I don't know why you assume that simply publishing item 1269 and upublishing item 358 should make it show on the page. This is not how joomla works.

You created a link to item 358 in your menu, so Joomla is trying to display item 358. If you unpublish that item, then an error happens.
If you want to display item 1269, then you have to change the menu item and make it display item 1269 instead of 358.

All of this has nothing to do with aliases and title and URLs.

Ohhh. It is only my fault !!! I thinked that this menu entry showed a K2 category and not liked to just one article !
I'm really really sorry for that. Stupid I am.

And thank you very much for your help.
