Hello again,

Whenever people do a search on my site http://xxxx.com they have to scroll down all the way to see the results because all enabled modules show up in the search page. (Test to see if you don't know what I mean)

To fix this I created an article with the search module in it {loadposition}, created a menu link to the article and disabled all modules but it still doesn't work.

I also tried to fix this in the url manager for duplicate links. But Selecting either one of the two duplicates still doesn't solve the problem Can you help?

Thank you.

Hi

The search module as an input field to specify a desired Itemid. This is what you should be using to be sure Joomla will use the desired Itemid when displaying search results.
The article with loadposition is probably only adding confusion to the mix. Displayed modules are only based on the Itemid so you just want to get the right Itemid

1 - What's the menu item you configured with the correct module selection? I found a "Search" menu item under the Hidden menu, but it seems to have plenty of modules configured for it

2 -
But Selecting either one of the two duplicates still doesn't solve the problem Can you help?
The "/search" URL has 122 duplicates, not 2. Which URL are your looking at?

Hello, I did use the Item Id
I am looking at this url which you can see by clicking the top left search text:
https://xxxx.com/about-going-natural/going-natural-info/search-going-natural-site-and-community

but I only just discovered how many search links there were in the urls manager. So I cleaned them up and now it works.

Thanks
