Hi,

we can't proceed with setting up the SEF url for virtuemart add/edit shipping address link, which is accessible right after registration.

The link is like mydomain/?addrtype=ST&new=1&task=addST&view=user&virtuemart_user_id[0]=478

However, the add/edit function is formed correctly (and working) from the account maintenance page, like this: mydomain/addst?new=1&virtuemart_user_id[0]=478

Could you give a hint on how to solve this?

Thanks,
Laszlo

Hi,

Could you share a link to the registration page of your site?

Meanwhile we solved this issue.

Normally (without sh404) the user registration page has an itemid parameter in the URL, which was missing. We added this to the newly created SEF URL of the page, so now it works.

We're still in the process of understanding how it works, so similar questions might arise ;)

Hi

Sorry about the delay, we have one support staff member unavailable at the moment.

Just to be clear, sh404SEF has no bearing on the no-sef urls. It takes them as they are created by Joomla or other extensions, and simply transforms them into SEF URLs.
A missing Itemid is a common situation unfortunately, which leads to both duplicate content issues on many Joomla sites, as well as strange behavior such as the one you've seen.
