Hi,

We recently moved our Joomla site over to an IIS sever. I'm now noticing two problems. Duplicate URL's in the breadcrumbs as well as URLs with an ending / in the URL manager. These URLs when viewed are pulling multiple articles and jumbling them on one page. Do you know how these URLs are being created? Is this a sh404SEF issue or a Joomla issue? Any idea on how to get rid of them? They are actually linking in the breadcrumb path which is creating a HUGE problem.

Thank you.

Hi

We can only talk about concrete things, so can you please pick just one page and use that as a basis for our talk (say https://joomlatest.xxxx.com/investors/, which I was not able to reach).

1 - What is the non-sef recorded by sh404SEF in the URL manager for this SEF?
2 - Is there also the same URL in the manager without the trailing /?
3 - I quite don't see what duplicate urls in breadcrumbs can be, do you mean you have the urls with and without the trailing /?
4 - To be fuly honest, as indicated in the tech requirements, I have no way to test anything on IIS, and zero knowledge of it. As such, it's not officially supported, though that doesn't mean we cannot try.

Rgds

Thank you for trying to help - I'll reference https://joomlatest.xxxx.com/investors/

This URL is accessed by clicking on the second investors in the following breadcrumb path: home / investors / investors / AIM Rule 26 / Announcements / 2014

The article that loads is actually investors/aim-rule-26 and not investors (I did not create an investors/)

1 - What is the non-sef recorded by sh404SEF in the URL manager for this SEF? index.php?option=com_content&Itemid=625&id=97&lang=en&view=category

2 - Is there also the same URL in the manager without the trailing /? yes. there is a URL for investors/ and investors (note: I did attempt to make investors/ and alias of investors. all that did was change the URL that appeared. the page content was still for investors/aim-rule-26)

3 - I quite don't see what duplicate urls in breadcrumbs can be, do you mean you have the urls with and without the trailing /? the duplicate URL I'm refereeing to in the breadcrumbs is investors / investors. one is for the investors link the other is for the investors/ link.

4 - To be fuly honest, as indicated in the tech requirements, I have no way to test anything on IIS, and zero knowledge of it. As such, it's not officially supported, though that doesn't mean we cannot try. - Appreciate any help you can offer. If there is no solution but you know of an extension that will work on IIS, that would help also.

Thank you.

Hi

I still cannot access any of your pages: here is what I get: https://weeblr.com/images/screenshots/Ue9R2nYbJURUQ7lL9J0jj30nSRpt4R.png

The DNS of rthis domain doesn't appear to be set.
That makes talking about the rest a bit hard.

Any idea?
