I would like to upgrade my site xxxx.com from 2.5 to 3+ and wondering the process I need to take concerning sh404sef. I have been using sh404sef for several years through anything digital and last month it expired. I joined your site and purchased it. I need simple instructions or video to follow on the SIMPLE steps to take. Newbie steve

Not sure I understand what you mean: instructions to do what? 1/ update sh404SEF? are you unfamiliar with that?
Or is this more "2/ update sh404SEF in the context of moving from 2.5 to 3?"
If #1, then you can head over to the Installation/Update section of documentation, and possibly the "Getting started" section as well.
If #2, sh404SEF itself has no requirement. Assuming you have an up to date version, you can move to J! 3 as you see fit. I'd say if your site has only Joomla content, it should be pretty straightforward. If you have multiple extensions that may have been modified in their J! 3 version, then specific steps may be needed, but again sh404SEF doesn't have any specific requirement.
The only difference is actually that a few features not available on J2 becomes availabe on J3 like character counters on page title and description input fields.
