Dear Sir/Madam,
I've noticed a small issue with the OG language tag(og:locale) set by sh404sef.
It appears that sh404sef gets the language tag from the language pack/installed content language and use this for the OG meta tag.
It's better to use the language tag set in the System - Language Code plugin, since this overrides the language tag that is set by Joomla.
A case for this would be when I have a English site, but I want it to be targeted world wide, instead of only for the UK.
Then the hreflang tag of "en-GB" is overridden by the System - Language Code plugin to be just "en", but this doesn't happen for the OG meta tag, which still outputs "en-GB". This could possibly confuse search engines/facebook that use the OG meta data.
I hope this can be improved.
Best Regards,
Gijs van der Velden
