Hello,
I am using a Joomla Bamboo template and the T3 platform. When my site displays a 404 error I get a nicely templated page, but I see a host of T3 notices. Is there any way to suppress these notices?

Hi

Those are definitely T3 errors, and preventing them requires changing the template code (check the constants have not been defined before defining them). I'd suggest you talk to T3 to ask them to make those changes.
Another quick way is to hide the errors by changing Joomla! error display level (which is good for production sites) but of course is only hiding the problem, not solving it.
