Hello, first of, all the best in developing one of the most popular SEF extension.

Second, have one problem. Here, on my page, www.xxxx.hr , I am using your extension.
Problem is, on home page. As you can see, I have in title tag "Izrada web stranica, SEO optimizacija | Domidona IT" but , google index "Domidona IT: Izrada web stranica, SEO optimizacija" https://www.xxxx.hr/search?client=xxxx

Do you have any idea what can be problem? Maybe I configure something wrong in sh404SEF.
Meta Description is OK

Cant figured why is that :( please some advice

Have nice day

Hi

From what I can see the title is ok:

<title>Izrada web stranica, SEO optimizacija | Domidona IT</title>

Google uses what they want on their result page, not necessarily what you put in the title.

- how long ago did you put this title in?
- what do they say in Google webmaster tools?
- Are you related to xxxx.com?

Hi

In 2 months, it should be taken into account I think.

You can't check for that directly, AFAIK, but you may use the Crawl as Google tool to see if the title is properly read. And you can check for any error they can display in crawl stats.

Like I said, you can only suggest a title, they'll do whatever they want!

Don't you think your tow pages compete with each other?

Hi, I think that problem is with ssl. Dont know if I correct configure sh404 for SSL, can you please check :(
If I look http://xxxx.com/server-header-checker/?page=single&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.xxxx.hr%2F&useragent=1&typeProtocol=11
and see that redirect is 303 not 301
and that is not ok?

Thank you

Hi

sh404SEF is not involved in http or https access, that's done at Joomla level, or most commonly drectly at the web server level.

I have followed your link to the header checker, but now it shows a correct 301. So I guess you fixed it somehow?

And yes, that may have been a reason, as a 303 may be interpreted by search engines a 302, ie temporary redirect. So it kept the old page content. That's how Joomla! does it, and it's technically correct, but for SEO, it may not be the best thing to do.
