Hello,

I have some problems with the error 404 handling.

Please see here, this is a 404 error:
http://www.xxxx.it/cit55

It is not showing the right 404 page, do you have any idea?

Thanks a lot in advance,
Davide

Hi Davide,

This error message means that the Joomla article is not found.
The 99% reason this happens is because the article has been renamed to something else than "__404__" or the sh404sef custom content category has been renamed or unpublished or deleted.

Can you please check that both article and the category are still published and with correct titles?

You're right, excuse me... the client disabled the article..

Can I do 2 versions? 1 for italian and 1 for english?

Thanks a lot in advance for your wonderful support.

Davide

Hi,

Yes, of course you can do that!
Create new articles with the same title and add "-it" for the Italian version and "-en" for the English and also SET the correct language in the relative article input (dropdown). Also you should leave the default 404 article as is (title and language to all).
