When sh404sef reports a broken link, is it possible to know on which page it found it?

Hi

Not always. The first step is to enable Record 404 on the Data recording  tab:

 

Once that's enabled and some 404 happens, you can go to the 404 error page listing and click on the Details + sign:

This gives you a list of errors details similar to:

Now the problem is that very often now with HTTPs, we do not have the referrer available from the web server so we jsut don't know where the request came from.

You can also use a "link checker" tool, online or desktop, to crawl all the pages on your site and tell you where they find 404s.
