Hi,

404 page url shows wrong url like https://www.xxxx.com/home instead of https://www.xxxx.com/404. How can i correct it.

Hi

The 404 page I see on your site is not from sh404SEF but from your template. That's where you have to look if you want to solve the problem.

"Something", most likely your template is doing a redirect when a 404 page happens. That should be disabled and you should leave sh404SEF handle the 404s.

I don't know. As I said, this is not done by sh404SEF so you need to find which part of your site setup is doing this redirect for 404 pages.

[EDIT] I tested with one of Joomla template, protostar and all works fine so this is done by your template indeed.

Note: I found that you have disabled sh404SEF error page

Once you've found what is causing the problem, you should use the sh404SEF error page instead of the JOomla one, it's much better.

Hi

You still have something on your site doing a redirect to /home in case of a 404. Once you find that, you can change the settings in sh404SEF if you want, but changing them now is not going to solve the problem of redirections to /home.
