hello,

i am not a professionnal

i use sh404sef since longtime....

i want to purge my URL, because i have a difficulty with a component edocman

but i noticed, i have not purge since loooooog time because there are 1M URL !!

i have purge total 404 and stop record.

but i cannot go to see TOTAL URL because it itake long time from server....

how i can purge this ? or go in control panel ?

Hi

If your server cannot do the deletion, it's going to be difficult.

What you should do 1st is set "Slow server" to "Yes" under "Advanced". This will switch to a simpler display and you may be able to access the SEF URL manager and purge.

If not working, I would do the following:

1 - take a full backup and make a copy of the site, for instance on your local machine
2 - On that copy, make sure "URL disk cache" is disabled under the "Advanced" tab of configuration
3 - Using phpmyadmin or similar, truncate (empty) the database table xxx_sh404sef_urls
4 - Test your local copy to see if everything is alright
5 - If all ok, do the same on the live site

Hi

As per the full message (you only quoted here a small part) you can see this error is not happening in sh404SEF but in Joomla Redirect plugin. If you want to suppress this error, you should disable that plugin.
