Hi
Im guessing you don't mean that adding a self referring canonical on the url without UTM will do the trick?
Hmm, no I said exactly that. On the URLs you want to handle that way, you'll add a self-referencing canonical.
I will have to create a list with utm urls and them apply them in the url manager and add the canonical href to the original page??
Not at all. You do not care about the UTM version. You only need to know about the original URLs, find them in the URL manager and add a canonical (again, this is done automatically for Joomla articles, manual action is only required for other content types).
Will SEF have a problem with SP page builder pages? or does it find these url's as well, just like a normal joomla article?
sh404SEF does not find URLs. Joomla finds URLs and pass them to sh404SEF if they need being transformed to SEF URL. SPPageBuilder is normally following standards Joomla API so it usually works fine (be aware that
SPPageBuilder has bugs but those should be fixed soon, I just talked to them today actually).
Joomla will recognize all links in content that are in the form
index.php?option=xxxxx&xxxxx. Most links are created like that. If you manually create links in your content (on your site), make sure you use that standard format (ie do not make link such as /my-page-address.html, that won't be recognized by Joomla).
So in short SPPageBuilder works fine with sh404SEF (pending their big fixing).
